Study System Design is an online learning platform that provides:

  • System design problem practice with interactive architecture tools
  • AI-powered coaching and feedback
  • Progress tracking and scoring
  • Course content and structured learning paths
  • Community features and collaboration tools

Account and Eligibility

To use our service, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU)
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

Subscriptions and Billing

Plans and Pricing

  • Monthly Plan: $15/month
  • Quarterly Plan: $30/quarter
  • Annual Plan: $100/year

Billing and Renewals

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • Billing occurs at the beginning of each billing period
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Changes to your plan take effect at the next billing cycle

Refunds and Cancellations

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • No refunds for partial periods after the first 7 days
  • Refunds for the first 7 days are processed automatically upon cancellation
  • All refunds are processed through Stripe within 5-10 business days

Fair Use and Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from our platform
  • Interfere with or disrupt our service or servers
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated tools to access our service without permission
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise our security

Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content on our platform, including but not limited to:

  • Text, graphics, logos, and software
  • System design problems and solutions
  • Course materials and assessments
  • AI coaching algorithms and feedback systems

is owned by Study System Design and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create on our platform, but grant us a license to:

  • Display and distribute your content as part of our service
  • Use your content to improve our AI coaching and feedback systems
  • Analyze your content for service improvement (anonymized)

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to:

  • Perform maintenance and updates
  • Modify or discontinue features
  • Suspend service for security or legal reasons

No Warranties

Our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy or completeness of content
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages exceeding the amount paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

  • By You: Cancel your subscription through your account settings
  • By Us: With 30 days notice for service changes, or immediately for violations
  • Effect: Termination ends your access to paid features but allows continued access to free content

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Posting the updated terms on our website
  • Sending an email notification to your registered email address
  • Displaying a notice on our platform

Your continued use of our service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
